I’ve grown up in all things dance, studying multiple genres from an early age. My passion and love for dance led me to find myself in the stage light more times than I could count, travelling the world to explore the fabulous world of the art, and passing my knowledge onto the next generation of up and coming dancers. I found my passion for Pilates when an ankle injury required weekly classes to aid in restoring my strength. I very quickly fell in awe of the prospect that I was able to not only find my strength again, but maintain my dancing physique. When I found my dreams of dancing abroad put on hold due to the pandemic, I explored many things as an option, but I always found myself coming back to Pilates. Completing my Studio Pilates Instructor Training was the best and most fulfilling decision I have made to date! Through teaching Pilates classes, I found myself being faced with the incredible opportunity of owning my own Studio, previously established by an experienced mentor, that I simply could not turn down. My passion and desire to help others find their strength, not just physically but holistically through Pilates, means I focus my class on bringing a soft and calming feeling to the room. My goal is to have you leave every class feeling like the best version of yourself, because after all, (after Pilates) there’s no better feeling in the world.

I fell in love with Pilates a little over 3 years ago. Not just for the way it changed and strengthened my body, but for the way it changed and strengthened my mind. As  Pilates requires so much concentration, I love that during a class my mind can switch off all my racing thoughts from the day and allow me to focus on two very simple things; movement & breath! The mind-body connection and transformation Pilates provides has changed my life and I’m so excited to start to share that with you all on my instructor journey ??? When I’m not on the reformer, I’m usually off on an overseas adventure trying to hit my 50 countries by 30 goal! ✈️

As a dancer I have always loved all forms of exercise that make me feel not only strong but elegant, calm and centred!!

Throughout lockdown the ability to go to dance classes ended so I picked up pilates classes online, to find other ways to better my mindset and my overall physical health. After lockdown I started reformer Pilates, I loved the way it made me feel and the positive effects it had, not only on my body but my over all mindset and confidence in life.

I’m excited to bring my passion for movement to the studio and help others find their passion for moving their body

After recently graduating high school and progressing into sport and nutrition science studies at university, becoming a pilates instructor fell hand in hand with my passion for exercise and wellness. Coming from a background of netball, pilates is a whole different ball game that changed my perception of fitness, and I quickly fell in love with the challenge. Nothing quite compares to a pilates workout! I am forever grateful to have the opportunity to be apart of the Pilates Affect Team, in hopes to assist everyone in reaching their personal goals that I know pilates has to offer!

I started Pilates as just a fun thing to try with a friend and immediately fell in love with it, it’s been the only exercise I’ve ever been able to consistently stick to not only because of how good it make you feel but because it’s fun! Who knew one peice of equipment could do so much?

One day I realised that I could make this my job so I asked Molly how she did it and the rest is history…

When I’m not on a reformer I enjoying a bit of kayaking when it’s warm and sitting by the fire drinking a nice cup of tea (or glass of wine) when it’s cold. Im so excited to start my instructor journey at TPA and I can’t wait to see everyone in class 🙂

Life has a strange way of brining you back to what you know is good for you, doesn’t it? for me, my love for pilates was ignited under the foundation this business was built on, and grew stronger with the power of its beautiful clients… 18 months later, and a million physical and emotional lives lived, i’m back where it all began. and i’m happier than ever to be here! teaching group pilates in the hawkesbury is my passion, particularly when the focus is away from our physical appearances and the enjoyable movement simply becomes a pathway to everyday greatness and ease (with a few sneaky challenges always thrown into the mix every time❤️‍). This ideology triggered my want (and need!) for further body and movement optimism once i completed my certificate iv in 2019, so much so i jumped further into study and walked away with a diploma of clinical pilates in 2021; deep diving into the ways of not only the reformer, but also the cadillac, wunda chair, ladder barrel and spine corrector, focusing on the rehabilitation and human empowerment. the greatest pearl of wisdom i’ve uncovered during this whole WILD journey is that humans are anti-fragile beings; we are hard to break; our bodies are not to be feared and the ability to just move is truly the greatest gift. let me guide you, again!
